how to commission a piece

Commissioning a piece could not be simpler.

Simply drop me a message on your prefered platform and we can have a chat about your needs!

Commissions begin at £20 and are charged at £10 per hour of burn time + materials.

So for example an 8 inch slice of wood with a detailed image may take 6 hours to burn, this would equate as:

Cost of Materials: Wood Slice, Sealant of choice = £10

Hours to draw out image on computer = 3

Alterations by Client before the image is transferred = unlimited

Hours to transfer the image to the wood = 2

Hours to burn the image onto the wood by hand = 6

Postage to the UK = £6

TOTAL Cost: £76

I tell you in advance how long I think it will take me to create. I fix the price. IF it takes me longer to do, then your price will not change. I will honour the commitment I have made to you.

I do ask for a 10% deposit on non personalised items and a 50% deposit for items that are to be personalised. This covers for the cost of the timber and my time should you decide to cancel your order after we have begun.
